Why add live chat to WooCommerce?
Most WooCommerce questions are pre-purchase: shipping times, sizing, stock, returns. If a shopper cannot get an answer on the product page, they leave. A chat button lets your team answer in the moment, and proactive invitations can trigger on high-intent pages like the cart or checkout. When nobody is on shift, the offline form captures the question with the page it was asked on, so you can follow up with full context.
Because MyLiveChat installs through the WordPress plugin, it loads on your whole store — product pages, cart, checkout, and blog posts — without touching your theme files or slowing your build.
WooCommerce live chat FAQ
Does MyLiveChat work with any WooCommerce theme?
Yes. The chat code loads independently of your theme, so it works with Storefront, Astra, Divi, Flatsome, or any custom theme.
Will it slow down my store?
The widget loads asynchronously, so it does not block your page render. Your product pages stay fast.
Can I show chat only on certain pages?
Yes. You can control where the widget appears, so you can run chat on product and checkout pages only if you prefer.
Is it really free?
Yes. One agent, unlimited chats, and unlimited websites are free forever, with no credit card required.
