Our Role for Customer Data
For information submitted by visitors, agents, or customers through a MyLiveChat
account, the account owner usually decides what data is collected, why it is collected,
and how long it is kept. In that relationship, MyLiveChat generally acts as a
processor or service provider for the account owner. Our Data Processing Agreement
explains the processor terms, sub-processor controls, security measures, and return
or deletion commitments that apply to that Customer Personal Data.
Collection of Information
We collect personally identifiable information, like names, postal addresses, email
addresses, etc., when voluntarily submitted by our visitors. The information you
provide is used to fulfill your specific request. This information is only used
to fulfill your specific request, unless you give us permission to use it in another
manner, for example to add you to one of our mailing lists.
When you use the MyLiveChat service, we may also process account registration
details, login and authentication records, billing contact information, chat
transcripts, tickets, visitor identifiers, IP addresses, user agents, uploaded files,
custom fields, and service logs needed to provide, secure, troubleshoot, and improve
the service.
Cookie/Tracking Technology
The Site and service may use cookie and tracking technology depending on the features offered.
Cookie and tracking technology are useful for gathering information such as browser
type and operating system, tracking the number of visitors to the Site, and understanding

We also use sub-processors and service providers for hosting, payments,
transactional email, CDN/security, support, and optional AI features. The current

conversations or visitor personal data.

agents and contractors (who have agreed to keep information secure and confidential)
have access to this information. All emails and newsletters from this site allow
you to opt out of further mailings.
We maintain technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal
information, including transport encryption, access controls, audit logging, backup
procedures, security monitoring, personnel confidentiality, and incident response
